Military

Men and women of US Military have always been a part of my life. 
Growing up in a military town, and later returning to live here, I have a true respect for those who serve. When first asked to make something for a returning Marine I immediately was interested in the project.
 
While considering the design of these pieces of hand-crafted dimensional art, I decided to not make a model of the aircraft but rather an artistic representation.  The outline and resulting flat layers combine to make the three dimensional effect of the design successful. 

I am always designing new pieces as different people and units make special request. 

It is a blessing to me to make a piece of art which will be given to someone as a remembrance of their military service.
